Incident Command System Training Services

BlueWater is fully versed in NIMS ICS and the associated Planning Cycle and Incident Action Plan production. We conduct NIMS ICS training and are known to provide user friendly coaching for streamlined ICS response management.

Our involvement with standard-making organization earned us a Certificate of Merit for our contribution to a joint Task Force of USCG, State agencies and industry representatives. The Task Force developed the specialized Incident Command System for response to Oil and Hazardous Chemical spills. The ICS was later adopted Nationwide by the USCG and is the foundation of the current National Incident Management System (NIMS). We developed specialized response job aides for Planning Process including the Field Operations Guide Book (FOG). BlueWater began working with the Task Force as it was formed in 1996 and continued to its production of training curriculum and job aides in 2000. We worked closely with emergency response management representatives from the USCG, the US EPA, the US MMS, and agencies of Washington, California, Florida, Texas, and New York.
