Qualified Individual

An interactive workshop to learn the responsibilities, actions, of the Qualified Individual. Class participates with State and federal agency representatives to learn what the agencies expect for “effective Spill response”. Class reviews recent case studies on what was done right and what needs to be improved.

Person-in-charge (Terminal/ Vessel) TPIC/ VPIC

Classroom training involving your terminal/ vessel and operations manual. Class works through operational and emergency actions for your facility. Practice, understand, and effectively manage PIC documentation.

Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response Training Services

Spill Trajectory Modeling

Hands-on class for understanding of the application of Computer Models to distribution of oil and chemical releases on water. Students practice modeling of releases using OilMap ® programs. Trajectory modeling is a key tool in emergency response management and the course provides an overview of modeling assumptions and required input data to produce reliable results.

Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC)

Interactive class on spill prevention measures and how to effectively use to manage a release. Review of Inspection, Documentation, reporting of spill containment features in your normal operations. Understand requirements for reporting a spill.
